General terms and conditions and transport conditions
 
1. Scope The following General Terms and Conditions apply to the commercial passenger transport service (chauffeur service) offered by Stefanie Secrafi under the CSS Chauffeur Service brand, as well as to all services offered by CSS Chauffeur Service. Business relationships between Stefanie Secrafi (CSS Chauffeur Service) and the customer are subject to German law. The contract language is German.

2. Place of Jurisdiction The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Hamburg, provided the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or if their place of residence or habitual abode is unknown at the time the lawsuit is filed.  

 

3. Use of the Online Offer The offer and use of the services, including registration and booking of trips, are intended only for natural persons aged 18 years and over, as well as legal entities.
 
4. Conclusion of Contract, Customer's Ancillary Obligations Inquiries, order placement, and contract conclusion take place via the website or directly through CSS-Chauffeurservice's customer service.

4.1 Booking Process After the passenger submits a request online, by phone, or by email, CSS Chauffeur Service will create a quote. Once the passenger accepts the quote, an invoice will be issued. Upon receipt of payment, the order is considered accepted and confirmed by CSS Chauffeur Service.

4.2 Customer availability The customer must ensure that they can be reached by phone at least 60 minutes before the booked trip. For airport pickups, the customer must be reachable immediately after landing.

4.3 Customer's duty to provide information The customer must immediately inform CSS Chauffeur Service of any circumstances that could affect the execution of the booked trip, particularly if the trip is expected to be cancelled.


5. Scope of Services – CSS Chauffeur Service's Obligation to Provide Services CSS Chauffeur Service's obligation to provide services is based on the information provided by the customer during the booking process and the booking confirmation. Transportation is provided according to the agreed options and includes punctual pickup and transportation to the destination.
 
Standard limousines have a maximum passenger capacity of four per booking. Larger-capacity vehicles (business vans) can carry up to seven passengers. Children under 12 years of age and under 150 cm tall must be transported in a child seat, provided this was specified and confirmed at the time of booking.  

 

The customer is responsible for the contents of their luggage. Weapons and dangerous goods are not permitted. Animals are permitted only with prior approval and subject to safety and space requirements.

6. Customer Payment Obligation If the customer does not start the trip or refuses transportation by CCS Chauffeur Service for customer-related reasons, the customer remains entitled to 100% of the agreed fee.

 

6.1 Cancellations by Customers

Cancellations by the customer are subject to the following fees:  

- Up to 24 hours before the start of the trip: free of charge

- 24 to 12 hours before the start of the trip: 40% of the booking price

- Less than 12 hours before the start of the trip or if the customer does not start the trip after the free waiting period of 30 minutes: 100% of the booking price

6.2 Exceeding the free waiting time Exceeding the free waiting time of 30 minutes or 60 minutes at the airport releases CSS Chauffeur Service from its obligation to provide services, unless the booking was made with a flight number.

 

6.3 Waiting times due to delays For waiting times due to announced customer delays and depending on vehicle availability, waiting time fees will apply after the expiration of the free waiting time, which will be invoiced to the customer.

 

6.4 Prices for additional waiting time For every 30 minutes of waiting time: €30.00 incl. VAT.

 

7. Transportation Rules and Customer Liability The customer is obligated to follow the driver's instructions, particularly regarding safety aspects and the obligation to wear seat belts in the vehicle. The customer is liable for damages caused by improper conduct or failure to follow instructions during the journey.

 

8. Liability of CSS Chauffeur Service Service companies, network partners, subcontractors, or employees of CSS Chauffeur Service commissioned by us are not authorized to enter into any ancillary agreements with the customer that go beyond the scope of the written contract. We assume no liability for damages caused to our clients by third parties, service companies, network partners, or subcontractors commissioned by us.
 
Claims for damages of any kind, regardless of the legal basis, are excluded unless CSS Chauffeurservice or one of its vicarious agents acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or the claims for damages arise from the absence of a guarantee. In the latter case, liability is limited to those damages covered by the guarantee. In the event of injury to life, limb, or health for which CSS Chauffeurservice is responsible, the statutory liability regulations apply.
 
CSS Chauffeur Service is not liable for service delays and their financial consequences resulting from events beyond its control, such as traffic jams, road closures, strikes, extremely bad weather, or traffic accidents. CSS Chauffeur Service assumes no liability for damages resulting from incorrect or unreasonably short-notice transmission of order-related information. We are not obligated to verify the accuracy of the transmitted data.
 
In the event of a customer's default in payment, CSS Chauffeur Service is entitled to withdraw from any contracts not yet executed.

 

Payment methods Payment is due in advance immediately after booking. Payments can be made by bank transfer or, upon request, via a credit card payment link.

Dispute Resolution The European Commission offers a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We do not participate in consumer arbitration proceedings.
